Israeli soldiers injured, on Saturday evening, many Palestinians and abducted a child, in Deir Sharaf village, west of Nablus city, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

Local sources said the Palestinians marched near the Deir Sharaf Junction in the village while chanting against the escalating Israeli violations especially in the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.

They added that the soldiers attacked the Palestinians with gas bombs, concussion grenades, and rubber-coated steel bullets.

Medics provided the needed treatment to dozens of Palestinians who suffered the severe effects of tear gas inhalation, and some who suffered cuts and bruises.

Also, the soldiers abducted a child, identified as Muawiya ‘Antari, after they invaded and searched a shop owned by his family.

In related news, the soldiers injured, on Saturday evening, more than a hundred Palestinians south of Nablus, during protests against the Israeli violations in the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the rest of occupied Jerusalem.

Furthermore, the soldiers injured, on Saturday at night, dozens of Palestinians, during protests against the escalating Israeli violations in occupied Jerusalem, especially in and around the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Also, the soldiers attacked protesters in the al-Fawwar refugee camp when the Palestinians marched from the center of the camp and headed towards its main entrance before the soldiers attacked them with rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

Dozens of Palestinians were injured and received the needed treatment by local medics.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli military and police escalation against the Palestinians started on the first day of the holy Muslim month of Ramadan after the army imposed severe restrictions and installed dozens of roadblocks isolating the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City.

The escalation was compounded by mass assaults and calls for further violence by extremist right-wing Israeli groups that called for expelling the Palestinians, and many of them calling for killing them.

The colonists are part of a right-wing Israeli group called Lehava, which organized the attack march with the stated aim of “restoring Jewish dignity” by “breaking the faces of Arabs”. [NOTE: read more about Lehava and other extremist groups here.]
